I have a 1998 Buick Century, it is actually my third Century that I have had, I also owned a 1997 and a 2001. They are great cars, and very comfortable. After they have some miles run on them the suspension will begin to get soft and loose. At this point it is time for new struts and maybe new springs. There are a few different options you can go with when it comes to replacing struts with an air suspension conversion.

If you have a 69-93 Dodge 150 Pickup Truck and need a little more towing or hauling capacity. I have an interesting product to tell you about. Its a air bag kit, commonly referred to as helper bags, that will go between your frame and leaf spring. You simply air the bags up whenever you have a big load. For less than $250 you can add 2000lbs capacity to your truck. These kits are cheap and easy to install as well. They work on 2×4 and 4×4 suspensions. What if you need even more towing capacity? Well your in luck there is another kit that will add 5000lbs of towing capacity.

If you own a Oldsmobile Nienty-Eight you will have air suspension problems. Its not a matter of if its a matter of when. I had my 1989 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight for nearly three years before it gave me any trouble. What happened to me is the rear of my car started getting lower and lower. Before I knew it I was driving around with no rear suspension. I looked high and low for a solution. And I found only one that was reasonible and affordable, which I will explain. I have a 1989 Pontiac Bonneville. I only had it for about 3 months, before it started giving me trouble. Which was not to much of a surprise cause it is a used car. But when I took it to my local dealer for repair, I was shocked. They wanted nearly $1000 to replace two of my air struts which were faulty. Both rear ones went out at the same time. They told me it was a common problem, and that they repaired them quite often. I decided to search for some other options. During my search I found some interesting things that may help you with your air strut problems and info on an air suspension conversion.

I had my 1995 Cadillac Eldorado with a 4.6L Northstar, it was a great car but recently it has been giving me some air bag issues. There are many cadillacs for sale that have broken air suspensions. In a 1994 Eldorado Cadillac, the air bags have been loosing air periodically, and feel soft. I took it to my automobile dealer, but they could not really give me a straight answer of what could be wrong even though they had a similar air bag failure with a 1978 eldorado and a 1990 convertible eldorado.
They said in most cases I was looking at a minimum of $800 to $1200 in repair costs. I thought about fixing it myself or putting up my eldorado for sale, and did some research online for eldorado parts. That only confused me more, cause I really did not know what was wrong with the car. After looking at the suspension specifications, I knew it didn’t have a double wishbone suspension. But I found out that it could be a leaky air bag, a defective air bag, sensor problems, or other issue. I did not feel like spending alot of time and money on the issue, for obvious reasons. While I was searching the net I found a interested in solution that costs less than $400. It is a kit that will simply remove and replace your air bags, with coil springs. Coil springs are much more reliable and simple than air bags.
Luckily I found an air bag defective system shop that had a suspension for sale and now my Cadillac Eldorado works great. If your 1993 Cadillac Eldorado is broken or any of the ’90s Cadillacs, you can find all the parts you need there. You can also find a car suspension diagram and any other things you might need. Just make sure you check out the suspension specs whether you have a hydraulic suspension or a belltech suspension. All suspension cars can use a more reliable and inexpensive coil spring system if you have the air bag system suspension conversion kit. It is definitely worth it in my opinion.

So you like most Fleetwood owners, are having or have had some suspension problems and are looking for the permanent solution for your air bag suspension. Well look no further, now you can replace your air struts with low cost passive non air struts. You can do this in both the front and rear of your vehicle.
My 89 Fleetwood was bottoming out in the rear for months before I finally installed a coil spring conversion kit on it. It was a cheapest and most reliable suspension solution I had. The car rides great, handles great. These Fleetwoods are great cars, with only one major flaw, which is the air struts, but with this kit it makes it an incredibly reliable and comfortable Cadillac. These front and rear coil spring conversion kits are extremely reliable, and safe. You will never have to worry about a problematic air suspension system again. These kits are very affordable as well.
