89-98 Suzuki Sidekick Air Lift 1000

So we have all heard of the Air Lift 1000, for whatever vehicle, as they have them for almost everything. I just wanted to share another successful story. I installed one on my neighbors 92 Suzuki Sidekick. The kit added alot of towing ability to the vehicle, which is nice as my neighbor haul a small trailer occasionally. 04-08 Nissan Titan Rear Suspension To Soft For Heavy Loads Helper Bag Kit

How to make 87-99 Mitsubishi Montero Sport Handle and Ride Better

The 88 Mitsubishi Montero Sport does not handle the greatest from the factory. They are actually pretty sloppy driving cars. Especially if you put a load on them. I struggled with this problem for a little while with my 95, in hopes of getting a bigger truck. But with cash being tight right now, I knew I wouldn’t be getting a new truck anytime soon, so I looked for another solution. Likely I stumbled upon a promising option. 95-99 Mercedes S55 Rear Coil Spring Kit

So you may have heard of coil spring conversion kits being used to avoid air suspension problems. Usually they are put on older luxury cars, but you can also get them for higher end cars to. For example I installed one just a couple days ago on a 97 Mercedes S55. The car was beginning to have some air suspension issues were the rear of the vehicle would lower down sometimes and get stiff sometimes. So my customer came to my shop asking about what he could do to fix it. With the economy being the way it is, he asked me if there was any cheap solutions.

90-93 Infiniti Q45 Coil Spring Conversion Kit – Get Rid of Air Bag System

I have a 1991 Infiniti Q45 about 2 weeks ago, my rear airbags went out. I knew the air system was starting to have some problems for a while. Sometimes the car would ride real low and sometimes it would ride real firm. But anyways the rear went out, I limped it back to the house. Luckily we have a spare vehicle I could drive while I repaired my Q45. I started calling around to shops, to find out what my problem was. Most told me that they would have to see it to give me a quote, but most said it would be somewhere around $1600-$2000 to repair it.

I got on the internet to see if there was anything else I could do. As I dont have extra cash to be spending right now. I found an interesting solution that would basically replace my whole air suspension. It is a kit that will convert it to coil springs. Which everyone knows are far more reliable than air bag systems. So I called a few friends of mine that are into cars, and asked them if they thought it was as good of idea as I did. They agreed that it would be a good solution, thats sure to last.

I went ahead and ordered the 4 wheel kit, as I figured the front would be next to quit working on me. So I bought the kit for less than $800, and it included everything to converted my entire air suspension system to coil springs. They got my order to me quick and my brother and I installed them in a couple hours, and we were taking our time. And now my 93 Infinity Q45 is driving great once again. I recommend this Kit!

90-99 Looking To Improve The Ride and Handling Of Your Subaru Legacy

If your legecy handles poorly and rides rough, it might be time to replace and/or upgrade your struts. A strut is a form of suspension that has a coil around it to support the weight of the vehicle. The strut acts as a shock absorber. When a strut becomes worn out, it becomes soft and fails to absorb impact the way it should, causing your vehicle to ride rough, bumpy, or loose. The handling will also be directly affected, as the vehicle will have alot of sway. 

This was the problem with my 95 Subura Legacy. Struts can get very expensive, it is not hard to spend $1000. There are many good options out there. If you check around online, you can usually get alot better deal than when going into a shop. Then you can just bring the struts and your Legacy to a shop and have them put them on. Or you can install them yourself, if you have some tools and some time. They are a pretty easy and quick install. Much like replacing an air suspension conversion kits with a similar yet cheaper coil kit.

But I bought my struts online, and installed them myself. It took me a few hours to install with the help of one of my friends, and we took our time. My 1995 Legacy handled and rode like new after the install. I was thrilled, it was well worth the money.
