I have a 1998 Buick Century, it is actually my third Century that I have had, I also owned a 1997 and a 2001. They are great cars, and very comfortable. After they have some miles run on them the suspension will begin to get soft and loose. At this point it is time for new struts and maybe new springs. There are a few different options you can go with when it comes to replacing struts with an air suspension conversion.

Buick Century Strut Replacements

You could go with a cheap replacement that will last you another fourty or fifty thousand miles. Then you will be back in same situation with a set of worn out struts. These struts are just made cheap, with components that were not designed for the long haul. There is another option though.

For a little more money you could go with EZ Struts, which are much stronger than a standard replacement strut. EZ Struts contain a multi shim valve system which provides for a much smoother and more comfortable ride. Also they contain a hardened double chrome plated push rod. The strut is made of two tubes to protect the inner components. All of these things make the EZ Strut a stronger and better choice. These are the struts that we used for the Cadillac Eldorado.
