Navigator <a href="http://airsuspensionreviews.com"title="Air Suspension System" >Air Suspension System Seal Leak

If your lincoln navigator air ride system is leaking down, make sure you find the leak before buying parts. Many people think if there air suspension is going down, it means they need a new air spring, solenoid, or compressor. Which is sometimes the case, but often it could be just a leaky seal. It is important that you check for leaks, a good way of doing this is cover the system in soapy water, to make the leak visible. Once you do this you may notice that it is coming from an air line or air bag. If thats the case you will now know what to replace. But if you dont notice any leaks, it could be a very slow seal leak. And if it is your air bag, you can either spend lods on an air suspension system, or you could buy a much cheaper and more reliable air suspension conversion kits.

Note: this is for 2000 lincoln navigator problems. Click here if you have the very common 1998 lincoln navigator air suspension problems.

Solenoid to Air Spring Seals

On an air ride system there are solenoids that go into each air spring. These solenoids are what control the release of air from the air spring. There are a few small seals on these solenoids, that often will be the cause of a leak. If you suspect its these seals try to put some soapy water around them and watch very closely. It may be leaking to slow to see. But if you cant find a leak anywhere else, it would be a good idea to replace the seals, as seal sets are only about $10-$12 for each solenoid. A slow leak from one of these seals could eventually cause your compressor to go out.

Replacing Air Spring Solenoid Seals

When you replace these seals, the ones that leak are usually the two that between the solenoid and the air spring. But you should also go ahead and replace the seal that goes between the solenoid and the line as well. That seal is included with most seal kits anyways. It is especially important to replace these seals anytime that you remove the solenoid. As the seals can go out even if the solenoid has not been removed. But once it has been removed they will never seal up right, it will leak every time.

I just wanted to share another successful story. I installed one on my neighbors 92 Suzuki Sidekick. The kit added alot of towing ability to the vehicle, which is nice as my neighbor haul a small trailer occasionally. She said it handles alot better with the bags, and she likes how the rear bumper doesn’t sit so low now. The kit was less than $100, and the install took me about half an hour. And the best part is it came with a lifetime warranty, so I really had nothing to worry about. Well worth the time and money. For more info check out the link below for more info including a how to install video.

I have a 1998 Buick Century, it is actually my third Century that I have had, I also owned a 1997 and a 2001. They are great cars, and very comfortable. After they have some miles run on them the suspension will begin to get soft and loose. At this point it is time for new struts and maybe new springs. There are a few different options you can go with when it comes to replacing struts with an air suspension conversion.

Buick Century Strut Replacements

You could go with a cheap replacement that will last you another fourty or fifty thousand miles. Then you will be back in same situation with a set of worn out struts. These struts are just made cheap, with components that were not designed for the long haul. There is another option though.

For a little more money you could go with EZ Struts, which are much stronger than a standard replacement strut. EZ Struts contain a multi shim valve system which provides for a much smoother and more comfortable ride. Also they contain a hardened double chrome plated push rod. The strut is made of two tubes to protect the inner components. All of these things make the EZ Strut a stronger and better choice. These are the struts that we used for the Cadillac Eldorado.

Buy Now! 40% discount!!

Cadillac Seville Bottoming Out In Rear

What you will be doing is basically eliminating the air compressor. What you will need to do is locate two valve stems. You can cut them off bicycle tubes if needed. You will simply cut the air lines near the rear of your cadillac’s air bags on each side. Then push the airlines into the valve stem, some epoxy or glue might help. Once you have done this allow it to dry, and then fill up your bags to the height you want. You can fill the bags with an air compressor or a manual air pump. This is a good fix, if you are in a jam and don’t have the extra $350 or $400 for a new air compressor.

Cadillac Seville Suspension Conversion

I would not consider this a permanent solution although some people will say it will hold for a long time. A good permanent solution would be to either fork out the cash and repair or replace your air spring or maybe think about investing in a coil spring conversion kit similar to the 1997 cadillac suspension conversion. Coil spring conversion kits cost about as much as a new air compressor, but they would out last a air compressor and many even come with lifetime warranty. There are coil spring conversion kits offered for the front and rear of the vehicle, the kit offered for the front comes with assembled front struts, which makes for a quick and easy install. No messing around with spring compressors!

If you have a Lincoln Mark 7, 8, Continental, Town Car, or any other air suspension vehicle. You have probably thought before that you love your car, but you just wish it didnt have so many air suspension problems. Whether it be a leak, sensor, or compressor it is always expensive. If there was only a way to eliminate your air suspension completely, well there actually is.

I found out about this awesome solution when I had some problems with my 1989 Lincoln Mark 7. It had a V8 and a manual transmission, and was a really clean car. The suspension started getting spongy on me and acting strange. I decided that I should fix the problem before it got worse or even unsafe. I found out about a kit that will take away all your air suspension troubles. Another common problem is the 1998 lincoln town car air suspension

Lincoln Mark VII Suspension Conversion

The solution is simple air suspension conversion, that will completely replace your <a href="http://airsuspensionreviews.com"title="Air Suspension System" >air suspension system. You will no longer have to worry about leaking air bags, lines, tanks, or compressor or sensor problems. With the use of this kit you will experience the classic coil spring suspension system, which is one of the most common and reliable systems.

For more about these kits, and were to find them the cheapest, check out the link below.

If your 98 lincoln navigator air suspension is not working, it could be one a few problems. If one corner of your vehicle is not airing up, or is not airing up properly, it could be a sensor not functioning correctly. It could also be the seals on the airbags, if one of your bags will not air up. These seals just wear out overtime. Often these seal problems will start when the vehicle is exposed to cold weather, as the seals begin to contract. This is not a big issue as the seals are only around $20, but it is a hassle to replace them. Read on for more.

This problem could also be because of a leaking valve, a leaking valve, or a failed motor. These things cost a lot more money to fix. In many cases it will cost $800-$1200. Larger aftermarket wheels or tires can contribute to some air suspension problems, as they put extra stress that these air suspension components were not meant to handle.

If your air suspension is not working, and you don’t feel like troubleshooting a overly complicated system, and just want a one time fix at an affordable price, there is a solution for you. Similar to the 1998 lincoln town car air suspension, there are kits you can buy to replace your <a href="http://airsuspensionreviews.com"title="Air Suspension System" >air suspension system with a coil spring kit. These coil spring kits are much stronger, and will hold up much better than an air system, even with large aftermarket wheels and tires. In most cases a coil spring kit will never need to be replaced. So if you’re having 1998 lincoln navigator air suspension problems make sure you buy a new coil conversion kit:
